CULTURE SHOCK SPORTS: Why Kevin Durant is the Best Player in the world right now.

It’s time for everyone to realize the greatness that is Brooklyn Nets superstar Kevin Durant. I understand that he is currently hurt, but when healthy I believe he is the best. He is a complete basketball player with almost no flaws honestly.  Here are my top 5 reasons why Kevin Durant is the best player in the world right now. 

1.Height 

Yes, height sounds crazy to think about but he is a 6’10 guard that can play every single position. His 7’5 wingspan makes him even more of a freak of a basketball player. 

2. Defense

Since joining the Golden State Warriors he has proven that he is more than an offensive player. He can guard any player on the court making him a difference-maker when the Warriors went small.    

3. Unselfishness 

He has learned that just because you are the best player on the court does not mean you have to be selfish with the basketball. He has developed into a willing passer, setting up his teammates to open the floor up.

4. Winning 

He is a winner or in recent years he learned to become a winner. Many people including myself believe that he did not have to join the Warriors to win a championship. Nevertheless, he did it and he has two NBA Finals MVP awards to go with his two NBA Championships both in dominating fashion. 

5. Scoring Ability 

He is the best scorer in the world, he makes everything look so easy. There is no one man that can guard him. He can shoot off the dribble 30 feet away and also post up smaller defenders. He also scores when it matters most in crunch time on the biggest stage the NBA Finals. 

I understand that this is an unpopular opinion but you have to realize that it going to happen sooner or later.
